Magazines and Puppies

-So last night Ben and I went to Target (my favorite store ever!!!) and in the check out line he finds the new Cosmo featuring Olivia Wilde and Lucky with Zooey Deschanel and proclaims that he would like them both and "put them together like this (face to face) and make kissy noises". Welcome to my life!
- "I found a magnifying glass in the basement! I can't wait til your brother comes over so we can burn ants!" Thanks dad, I'm sure that my 6 year old brother will LOVE that. No seriously he will.
- "Dad I think I want a french bulldog"
"Why? We don't have french things in this house."
"We have french fries."
"I like french fries. The french are useless, we had to bail them out in the war."
And that is how that went.
-"Eat your vegetables too. Not just the meat, you wanna get big and strong don't you."
Oh yeah, my dad talks to the dog...like a person. And he swears she's knows what's up.

I guess I should let you know a little bit about me and why I'm starting this blog. I'm in college studying forensic psychology and I live at home. My living conditions might make you shake your head and ask how have I survived this long. I currently live with my single dad (get it ladies), my 12 year old sister (I thought we were over the terrible two's like 10 years ago?!), my boyfriend (a stocky ginger who loves me), and my uncle (a 30 something who only eats carrots as his only vegetable). That's right. Let me break it down a little bit more for you. My dad is one of my best friends, we love food and he loves to cook. He is a great supporter and let's me know I can do anything. My sister and I do but heads a lot, but it's all in sisterly love, I think. She does dress me when I'm feeling lazy. My boyfriend and I have lived together now for a little over a year and I am very surprised we have not killed each other. He is the one that hugs me, holds me, feeds me lots of caffeine, and tells me it's okay. My unlce, well he's here. 

I love food, cooking, baking, coloring, crafting, reading, and now blogging. I am not that great with technical stuff so this might now look too fancy. I'll get over it, I hope you will too. I have a serious case of sarcasm all the time and I have admitted to being the bitch a few times. I'm a hopeless romantic with a love of the 20s-50s style everything. I love little kid things like dinosaurs and candy. Movies are my past time and I love Disney.
